Only one thing is more enjoyable than spending time at Sea Captain’s House in Myrtle Beach for food and drinks: Doing that at Sea Captain’s House during the holiday season.
The experience includes holiday happy hour and new festive cocktails and entrees for the season, and holiday desserts. (Regarding that latter item, you’ve got to try the pumpkin swirl white chocolate cheesecake!)
The Best Holiday Atmosphere Brings Cheer
And you will enjoy all of that festive food and drink in an exciting holiday atmosphere. We love the holidays at Sea Captain’s House, and our atmosphere shows it. We have again brought our decorations out of storage, and you will immediately experience the merry and bright festive traditions such as homemade cookie ornaments hanging on the trees. Enjoy the Sea Captain’s House Winter Wonderland drink while experiencing other decorations such as greenery along the mantle and a roaring fire in the fireplace. By the way, that House Winter Wonderland includes vodka, peppermint schnapps, chocolate liquor, and red sugar rim on a red rimmed martini glass.
The Best Food for the Holidays
Sea Captain’s House is bringing its best fare to provide the best holiday experience. You must try the Cioppiono, which includes fennel seafood broth, caramelized leeks, shrimp, and little neck clams finished with a grilled lobster tail.
And Sea Captain’s is known for its sea bass. It’s on the holiday menu again this year, and it’s pan-seared sea bass over butternut squash, corn, leak, red and green bell pepper and shaved brussel hash with an apple and pear gastrique.
The Best Drinking Experience for the Holidays
In addition to the Winter Wonderland drink mentioned earlier, “Home for the Holidays” is one of the great holiday drinks that Sea Captain’s House is bringing back for the season. That drink includes gin, lemon juice, cranberry juice, bitters, egg white, and clove (coupe glass with white foam on top).
Bourbon Apple is another holiday drink at Sea Captain’s House, and it includes bourbon, ginger syrup, apple juice, lemon juice, and cracked black pepper (short rocks glass).
And guests can enjoy those drinks even more during holiday happy hour, taking place from November until the end of February. From 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, guests will enjoy happy hour with half off appetizers with the purchase of an alcoholic drink in the bar area.

Dessert! Our homemade desserts are a must to top off your perfect holiday dinner. They’re also perfect as a sweet gift for loved ones. Among the favorites are Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie, Hummingbird Cake, Key Lime Pie, and Dutch Apple Pie, and we make all of our cakes and pies daily.
We do ask that guests ordering one of our great holiday desserts do that two weeks in advance. That will help us make sure we will have the desserts on your list.
