13th Annual Independence Day 5K, Grand Park Lake At Market Common
7-9:30 a.m.: One of Myrtle Beach’s biggest races winds through Market Common and the former Air Force Base. Participants get a race shirt, medal, and post-race goodies. Event also includes mile fun run and kids’ dash,
4th Annual Red, White, And Blue 5K, Barefoot Landing

1-4 p.m.: Start with a tour of the 2022 summer exhibition, with more than 100 works of art from Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Camp includes discussion and experience of self-expressionism and folk art through daily projects. Students bring home mixed-media self-portraits and sketchbooks.
