New Broadway at the Beach Eatery Offers Flavors Diners Will Melt Over

As Grand Strand insiders know, Myrtle Beach’s Broadway at the Beach is home to one of the top culinary scenes in the area. After all, the renowned shopping/dining/entertainment complex off Highway 17 features a long list of eateries that serve up cuisines ranging from inspired American to traditional Japanese and dishes ranging from creative burgers to fresh seafood. Further, offering testament that the dining options at Broadway are constantly growing and bringing exciting new treats, a new addition in summer 2019 features menu offerings prepared in an authentic Marra Forni brick, wood-fired pizza oven.

Located along The Avenue at Broadway in the space that previously served as the home of The Original Shucker’s Raw Bar, Melt is owned by four local partners who met while working at Broadway establishments Broadway Louie’s and the Hard Rock Cafe. The restaurant, which prepares its own pizza sauce and dough daily, of course shines in the pizza department, and it also offers a range of other creative entrees, grilled sandwiches, salads, appetizers and desserts. A full bar serves up a wide selection of beers, wines and specialty drinks, and diners can choose to sit in the main dining area, on the outdoor patio or in the upstairs bar area. Acoustic entertainment is occasionally offered to set a festive mood.
