The Starbucks and Whitecaps are both located across Ocean Boulevard from the Dominican building of Caribbean Resort.
“The Starbucks is a great place to hang out. They have plenty of couches and comfy seats, indoor and outdoor, little tables all round, there’s a big meeting table. It’s just a comfortable all-around environment,” Mechanic said. And all of your favorite Starbucks drinks are available, as well as breakfast and lunch snacks and pastries, even Starbucks merchandise. The hours vary by season, staying open later in the summer, but the Starbucks is open from 6 a.m. to 8, 9 or 10 p.m. year-round.
Whitecaps offers self-serve frozen yogurt + topping experience that’s grown increasingly popular around the country, offering delicious and affordable treats the whole family loves.
“The décor is pretty cool in there, too,” Mechanic said. “It’s really popular in the afternoon and after dinner. People love it, the staff is really friendly, they’ll answer questions, give you samples.”
