Broadway at the Beach offers around-the-bend fun for guests of the Caribbean Resort & Villas

Celebrity Square is consistently a hit because it is an exclusive area dedicated to nightlife and all-around entertainment adults and children can enjoy.

Carlo’s n Charlie’s is an eatery that features live entertainment. Inspired by Mexican culture and themes, the décor is colorful and the music is lively. Members of the wait staff won’t just take your orders, but they will also dance for you – or with you. A sombrero might get placed on your head or a feather boa may be snaked around your neck to indoctrinate you into the fun, festival environment. Other similar businesses in Celebrity Square that bring the heat with fun include Senor Frog’s (with interactive entertainment) and Crocodile Rocks, where dueling pianists play your songs their way.

Yet, the truth of the matter is that fun is at the forefront at various Broadway at the Beach spots. You can’t avoid a good time – it will find you even if you try to avoid it.

The complex’s four theaters, 23 eateries and more than 100 specialty shops were certainly created with tourists and other pleasure seekers in mind.

One of the newest attractions is the digital cinema called BIGD, which has a screen more than 82 feet wide and three stories high, with films both in 2D and 3D.

The Pavilion Nostalgia Park, featuring nine rides from the former Pavilion Amusement Park on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. The calm of the carousel and the excitement of swings and pirate ship ride are among thrills awaiting the fearful and the brave.

Themed restaurants including Hard Rock Café, Planet Hollywood and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville each pair a bit of celebrity with the bare-bones appeal of good eats and make-you-happy libations.

If you would rather focus on clothing your body instead of filling your gut, you won’t have difficulty pursuing that goal either.

Victoria’s Secret guarantees you can be naughty and nice in one fell swoop.

Denim Exchange lets you shop like a rock star with pricey brand items such as True Religion jeans often worn by famous folks.

No matter where you choose to shop, you will surely see something you want – jewelry, surfboards, shoes, totes and T-shirts are among an extensive list of buys you might not have the willpower to bypass.

Yet, if you prefer to be entertained solely by entertainment, you won’t be disappointed at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach.

It is home to Ripley’s Aquarium, the Palace Theatre, Legends in Concert and WonderWorks, where an upside down building houses more than 100 hands-on educational exhibits.

There is such abundance at this premiere complex that you simply can’t get it in all in one day. But don’t fret – the Caribbean is only about 5 minutes away. Therefore, go back to your vacation home, get some rest and embark on a new adventure at Broadway at the Beach when you are rejuvenated.
