7 Items for Your Fall Myrtle Beach Bucket List

What’s on your bucket list?

Not only for life but for vacation. When you visit Myrtle Beach, there might be places and activities you see and say to yourself, “next time!” But does “next time” ever happen?

Here are some items we’d add to our own Grand Strand bucket list.

1. Enjoy Your Resort’s Indoor Amenities

When you stay at Caribbean Resort, the end of summer doesn’t mean the end of fun in the water. With indoor and outdoor hot tubs and an indoor pool deck and a kiddie pool, you can still have a taste of summer. Especially with a Rum Punch Tiki Hut drink special.

2. Have a Spin on SkyWheel

Not crazy about heights? Take a chance on a ride on SkyWheel anyway. You’ll see Myrtle Beach as you’ve only dreamed of it. Go up with your family, someone special, or solo. Snap some photos to remember the moment. Most of all, enjoy the view.

3. Meet Someone

Singles: Take a chance and say hi to that winsome stranger at the bar. There could be a stellar conversation to be had. Couples: Introduce yourself to someone at the resort. There could be a meetup for drinks later. Families: See what friends the kids can make on the lazy river. Introduce yourselves to their families if they’re there too. Life is short.

4. Collect Shells and Sharks’ Teeth

Head to the shore at low tide. If the tide is on the way out, that works too. Big storms and full moons bring out powerful waves and larger shells. For sharks’ teeth, seek out that dark black color and pieces with symmetry. Take your time! Myrtle Beach is home to so many sharks’ teeth and other fossilized treasures of the sea.

5. Have an Afternoon of Bird Watching

Shut the screens off, grab basic binoculars, and seek out the Grand Strand’s bird species. Mornings work best. Hit Myrtle Beach State Park. See birds such as ruddy turnstones, western sandpipers, and the uncommon piping plover. At Murrells Inlet, you’ll see razorbills, loons, and perhaps even a nesting bald eagle.

6. Storm the Castle at Medieval Times

The Grand Strand boasts some of the most talented entertainers in the nation. Get lost in the storyline of medieval history with an exhilarating show. Take in jousting matches, brave knights on horseback, and an incredible four-course meal.

7. Stay at a Beautiful, Top-of-Line Resort

Oh, the amenities: More than 14 pools. An oceanfront tiki bar (plus Ben & Jerry’s and a Starbucks on-site!) Larger than life checkers and the renowned Mist Spa. Book a spacious suite with a gorgeous ocean view, one close to all the Myrtle Beach attractions. Swim, explore, retreat, repeat. Find more ideas on our blog, and book your stay today.
