Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort Selected as One of Top Family Golf Resort

May 23, 2007, Pawleys Island, S.C. – Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort was recently honored as one of the “25 Best Family Golf Resorts” by Golf for Women. Published in the current May/June issue, South Carolina and Arizona led the way in Golf for Women's inaugural family-friendly ranking with four resorts each. Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort was the lone Grand Strand facility selected.
The resorts were chosen for their willingness to encourage families to play golf together, whether with family tee times or in kids-play-fee programs, and for the amenities that families expected including spas, waterslides, theme parks, kids’ camps and beaches. Each resort was also rated on its junior tees, junior club rentals, junior instruction, kids’ activities and cost.
Golf for Women described Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort as “a laid-back, affordable vacation spot on the Grand Strand, with three easy-playing courses across the road from the resort.” The magazine further featured Litchfield’s three golf courses, the Direct Approach Golf School’s Kids Golf Camp, the variety of lodging at the Resort and the kids programs at the golf course and resort.
