Top 3 Myrtle Beach Attractions in 2013
With all of the fun things to do in Myrtle Beach, it can be hard to fit everything in to one trip. Here’s a quick list of a few of our favorite attractions around town that we think you should try to squeeze in to your itinerary.
Myrtle Beach SkyWheel
1110 North Ocean Blvd
If you want to return home from vacation with bragging rights, take a ride on the SkyWheel – the largest wheel ride east of the Mississippi River. Make sure to bring your camera because there will be a perfect opportunity to snap some photos of the Myrtle Beach coastline once you’re up in the sky. Restaurants and shops surround the SkyWheel, so you can grab a bite after the ride.
1313 Celebrity Circle
Did you drive by the awesome upside-down building on your way into town? That’s WonderWorks, and with over 100 hands-on exhibits, there’s something for everyone between those four overturned walls. Exhibits include activities like lying on a bed of 3,500 nails, riding an Xtreme 360 bike, and designing and riding your very own rollercoaster. There’s also a Ropes Challenge course and Lazer-Tag at WonderWorks, so plan to stay for an entire day if you have the time.
2904 Fantasy Way
One exciting way to spend an evening in Myrtle Beach: Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament. When you enter the 11th century castle replica, you’ll feel like you’ve just entered the medieval age. Enjoy a four-course meal while cheering for your section’s knight as he engages in a live jousting tournament. Be prepared to get your hands a little dirty – remember, there was no silverware in the 11th century!
