Myrtlewood Villas and Ripley’s Aquarium

On your next trip to Myrtle Beach, make sure you leave with the most memories possible!  Located in the center of all the action, Myrtlewood Villas is sure to accommodate all of your vacation needs while being just a short distance from an unlimited number of golf courses, restaurants, and major attractions such as Broadway at the Beach.

Myrtlewood Villas is a complex of condos that has it all from 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom condos with the finest features including:  full kitchens, spacious living rooms, washer and dryer in each villa.  During your stay, relax on the Atlantic shores under the sun, or enjoy Myrtlewood Villas’ impressive water attractions and pools.  Myrtlewood Villas features 14 outdoor pools, an indoor hot tub, a lazy river, and an indoor pool for swimming laps or playing water volleyball.

If that isn’t enough water fun for you, stroll through the famous Ripley’s Aquarium for a whole day of fun!  Ripley’s Aquarium, South Carolina’s most visited attraction, is located at Broadway at the Beach, only a couple miles from Myrtlewood Villas.

This 85,000 square foot wonderland features underwater shows like Ray Bay Dive, Marine Science, and Rainbow Rock Dive.  These dives are great for adults and children because they aren’t only fun, the divers teach you many interesting facts about the ocean and its inhabitants.  You can watch the divers feed stingrays and sharks at the Ray Bay Dive show, or learn about coral reefs at the Rainbow Rock.  Ripley’s is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums, an organization dedicated to enhancing the conservation and education of zoos and aquariums. Ripley’s Aquarium makes every effort to avoid collecting their fish from the ocean by breeding them in captivity, or exchanging fish with other aquariums.

This attraction also features a hands-on discovery center.  You can hold live horseshoe crabs and feel the thrill as their legs squirm around, or you can solve puzzles and test your knowledge of marine life.   Kids love the new mermaid show where live mermaids swim among hundreds of bright-colored fish and stingrays.  They blow kisses at the crowd while turning flips in their own little world. This live mermaid show is free with the purchase of a ticket into the aquarium.  Ticket prices are listed below with additional contact information.

As a guest of the Myrtlewood Villas, you don’t have to travel far for one of the most visited attractions in Myrtle Beach.
