The Carolina Opry has earned a reputation for bringing some of the best in family friendly entertainment in the nation and world to the stage on the Grand Strand. The lineup for the 2015 fall season certainly fits the bill.

In addition to the long running shows that are back by popular demand, the Carolina Opry also adds some fresh performances to the mix to give guests a wide range of entertainment options. Whether you are a little bit country or a little bit rock 'n roll, the Carolina Opry has something for everyone on its autumn schedule. Here's a list of some of the highlights coming to a stage near you at the Carolina Opry in Myrtle Beach:

Grits & Glamour Tour: Get your tickets now for this one-night tour stop by two of the queens of the country music industry – Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis. With their illustrious careers combining for 28 top-10 hits, 12 No. 1 songs and more than 18 million records sold, this duo has joined forces to create a unique show that has been wowing crowds at sold-out venues all summer. Backing one another on their biggest hits, like Morgan's “Something in Red” and “Except for Monday” and Tillis' “Mi Vida Local” and “Maybe it was Memphis,” these veteran performers put on a fantastic show for fans for one night only on Sept. 27.

The Carolina Opry: This self-titled show has been packing the house for almost 30 years, and theater founder Calvin Gilmore continuously updates the music and material with fresh faces, music, dancing and more. Earning accolades from the national media, such as The New York Times and USA Today, the house show has been voted No. 1 among patrons year after year. This showcase features country music singers and musicians performing classic tunes to guests that clap, sing, dance and laugh along with the action. If you can only see one show while you are in Myrtle Beach, this is a good one to scratch off your bucket list.

Time Warp: Repeat visitors may remember this show as its previous incarnation, “Good Vibrations,” a long-running performance that highlights popular music from the 1960s, '70s and '80s. But this new version puts more focus on the rock 'n roll genre of music with tribute performances of hard rockers Led Zeppelin's “Stairway to Heaven” and soft rocker Elton John's “Your Song”. Blending spot-on vocal and musical numbers with high-tech special effects and multi-media screens, “Time Warp” takes the old show to the next level with a high-energy, fast-paced production, which provides a great opportunity for families to bridge the generation gap between parents and kids.

Thunder & Light: The Carolina Opry takes some of the best performers ever to grace its stage and adds in a high-tech five-laser light show that was used by such sellout tours by Madonna and Pink Floyd in a spectacular display of music, magic, dancing and more. See the tap dance troop All That, which dazzled the nation on the hit TV show “America's Got Talent”, along with the husband-wife illusionist duo of Brandon and Hannah Wagster. Carolina Opry also hosts laser-only shows called “Light Laser Extravaganza” that highlight the music of classic rock acts like The Beatles and Pink Floyd.

The Carolina Opry Christmas Special: The highlight of the holiday season takes the stage beginning in November, bringing the Christmas spirit to crowds that come back year after year. Classic country Christmas music, dancing and comedy skits are perfect for the whole family to experience some holiday cheer and joy. Spoiler alert: The kids will love the cameo appearance by the jolly ol’ man himself.
